Thank you for giving!
During the Sacramento Region Community Foundation's Big Day of Giving, nonprofits in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo counties raised over $13.8 million dollars, bringing the total generated since the inception of this annual giving day to more than $117 million!*
βOur neighbors throughout the Sacramento region rallied around the causes that do so much good right here in our community. They demonstrated once again that generosity runs deep in our community β now and since our community's first giving day thirteen years ago,β said our chief executive, Kerry Wood.
Donations were received by 855 of the nonprofits involved β the most to ever participate, demonstrating this eventβs importance to the capital regionβs social sector. Donors helped participating nonprofits secure more than $1 million in matches and, thanks to lead sponsor Western Health Advantage, received over $100,000 in prizes throughout the day! We are grateful to all of this year's sponsors.
