Empower a Girl. Change the Future.

Right now, a girl in our community is waiting for the chance to discover her confidence, courage, and voice. Girl Scouts creates the space, support, and experiences that help girls uncover the power already within them—and use it to uplift others and strengthen their communities.

Across our region, that impact reaches thousands of girls and families. Girl Scouts Heart of Central California serves nearly 10,000 girls across 18 counties, offering leadership programs, outdoor adventure, and hands-on innovation through our STEM Center + Makerspaces in Sacramento and Modesto.

Because of generous donors like you, opportunity remains within reach. Last year alone, GSHCC provided more than $160,000 in financial assistance to over 6,000 girls, ensuring every girl can belong, lead, and grow.

 Your gift makes it possible:

  • $25—Welcome a girl with a Girl Scout uniform

  • $65—Give one girl a full year of Girl Scouts membership

  • $195—Support three years of leadership and growth

  • $300—Send three girls on confidence-building outdoor adventures

  • $650—Support memberships for an entire troop

  • $1,200—Help train a future Girl Scout camp counselor

When girls thrive, communities thrive. Your donation today helps the next generation of leaders rise.

Give today because Empowered Girls Empower Everyone.

Mission

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Needs

Invest in the next generation of problem-solvers, go-getters, dreamers, and doers! From reaching the outer limits of space to stocking their local food pantry, there is no challenge too big or need too small for a Girl Scout to tackle.

Girl Scouts sets girls up with the skills they need to be successful in life. Whether it's through trying something new in a badge series, meeting an expert in an interesting field, or navigating friendships and teamwork, Girl Scouts develop skills like resiliency, compassion, and leadership.

Creating our future, one challenge at a time.

Girl Scouts Heart of Central of California is committed to making Girl Scouting available to girls who, without financial help, would not be able to participate. The inability to pay should never stand in the way of girl's hope and dreams. The support received from public contributions helps provide equal access to all girls to our programs and activities, such as camp, outdoor adventures, Under Construction, civic engagement, and STEM workshops.

Equity Statement

Girl Scouts Heart of Central California (GSHCC) values diversity, equity, and inclusion, both in concept and in practice. Across 18 counties, our girls, volunteers, alumnae, and staff comprise diverse communities and identities that encompass ability, ethnicity, gender identity, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.

We acknowledge the historical impacts of systemic racism and oppression that affect our Girl Scout family and society, which continue to have an impact today. GSHCC is wholly committed to building an anti-racist and anti-oppressive environment. It is a Girl Scout Movement-wide journey based on respect for one another. We find strength in the knowledge that we embark on this journey together.

At GSHCC, our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. We offer a diverse and inclusive array of programming and perspectives with the goal of ensuring all girls, volunteers, and staff have a safe space, where they can learn and grow and be their authentic selves.
