THE LIFELONG VISION

Project Lifelong is a youth development organization committed to fostering ongoing, supportive relationships in the lives of young people. We offer youth-driven, experiential and relationship-centered programs that empower young people to foster their own strong sense of community.

Through skateboarding, outdoor adventures, mentorship, and intervention-based support like the Twin Rivers Intervention Program (TRIP), youth gain hands-on experience building resilience, teamwork, self-awareness, and leadership. Guided by trusted mentors and strong community partnerships, we create meaningful pathways for Lifelong growth on and off the board, and beyond our programs.

Mission

We are a Sacramento based non-profit empowering youth through skateboarding and outdoor adventure programs.

Needs

Project Lifelong has always been driven by a creative, forward-thinking team that’s willing to try new things to truly connect with and empower young people. While grants help, they often come with restrictions that can limit how flexible and responsive we can be. What we really need is unrestricted support that allows us to meet youth where they are, adapt quickly, and keep building programs that truly make a difference.

If what we’re doing resonates with you, we’d love to connect. Whether it’s sharing our story, volunteering, partnering, or finding other ways to get involved, there are many ways to help grow our impact and reach more young people who need it.

Equity Statement

We are committed to building positive, purposeful relationships with every youth member so that barriers to participating in Lifelong programs and opportunities are removed. We value, seek out, and embrace diversity among our families and staff. A member’s background, including ability, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, socioeconomic status, or life experiences, does not limit our expectations for them or the outcomes we support them in achieving. Our goal is simple: to provide a meaningful and high-quality Lifelong experience for every member, every day.
