Project Lifelong is a youth development organization dedicated to building ongoing, supportive relationships in the lives of young people. Through youth-driven, experiential, and relationship-centered programs, we help young people develop resilience, confidence, leadership, self-awareness, and a strong sense of community.
What makes this work especially powerful is the role skateboarding plays in a young person’s life. Skateboarding creates a space where kids can be themselves without judgment. It offers something that feels increasingly rare in modern social development: real inclusiveness, real creativity, and real self-expression. On a skateboard, young people learn how to take risks, get back up after falling, support one another, and find their own voice. It is not just a sport. It is a community, a creative outlet, and a pathway to connection.
Through skateboarding, outdoor adventures, mentorship, and intervention-based support like the Twin Rivers Intervention Program (TRIP), Project Lifelong gives youth hands-on opportunities to grow both on and off the board. With trusted mentors and strong community partnerships, we help create meaningful pathways for lifelong growth, belonging, and opportunity.
Your support helps make these experiences possible for young people who need them most.
