$10,000 Goal
We are celebrating 70 years of service to our neighbors across the 20 counties we cover, spanning Benicia to the Oregon border In the last year our volunteers and small staff have served over 175,990 individuals.
With person-to-person interactions we address any challenge presented to us and find solutions to aid our brothers and sisters in need – short term or long term. Our aid goes beyond a single type of charity, it includes but is not limited to financial assistance for rent, utilities, transportation, clothing, food, and furniture. To keep these services free our funds to support this crucial work come from our Thrift Store, by selling generous donations. But our store needs improvements.
This year our Big Day of Giving campaign is concentrated on our Thrift Store FUND-A-NEED. We have accepted a grant from SMUD which will cover $50,000 for new:
Electrical Panel
Switchgear
Interior Lighting
BUT we need an additional $35,000 to complete the improvements. Would you consider helping us reach this goal?
