Just two years ago, the Thrift Store stood on the edge — in danger of closing.

Today, it stands as something entirely different:

A cornerstone of our mission — supporting the work and growth of our Council and programs as we meet the increasing needs of our neighbors.

MORE THAN A STORE

The St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store is not just a retail space. It is a network of charity — where every donation and every purchase is transformed into person-to-person service for those in need.

It is also the home of our Workforce Development Program. A place where individuals who have struggled to find work — or need rehabilitation, coaching, and a second chance — can begin again.

Here, they gain:

• Job skills
 • Confidence
 • Work history
 • A path to meaningful employment

Just as our neighbors find a place to belong, they find a place to work, to grow, and to hope.

FOUNDATION FOR THE FUTURE

Over the past year, the store has undergone significant transformation:

• Streamlined operations and leadership structure
 • Improved production flow and consistency
 • Enhanced shopping, donor, and volunteer experience

And through the generosity of our community, we have already begun refreshing the space to reflect the dignity of those we serve:

• New signage and interior updates
 • Improved layouts and expanded fitting rooms
 • A renovated breakroom for staff and volunteers
