Raised by a strong single mom!

My why for supporting Single Mom Strong is deeply personal. I was raised by the most incredible single mother in the world. She raised my sister, brother, and me on her own - navigating the struggles of life quietly and selflessly, never allowing us to feel the weight she carried. She shielded us from hardship by giving us everything we needed, even when doing so came at great personal sacrifice.

Because of her, I learned what true strength, resilience, and unconditional love look like. She shaped me into the man, father, son, and friend I strive to be today. As I grew older, I began to truly understand the challenges she faced - the pressure, the exhaustion, the moments she had to push through when no one was watching.

When my mom and I discovered Single Mom Strong together, she said something that has stayed with me ever since: “I wish this had existed when you were younger. This would have been such an incredible support - for me and for us.”

That single statement fuels my passion and commitment to this organization.

It’s why I choose to advocate, invest, and pour into Single Mom Strong. If the work we do can support even one family - if it can lighten the load for one mother or change the trajectory for one child—then it truly makes all the difference.

As the organization continues to grow, so does the impact. Beyond immediate support, the programs and empowerment centers now allow us to invest deeply in children - providing foundational tools, confidence, and guidance that help shape strong individuals, healthy relationships, and a more resilient society.

This is more than a mission. It’s a responsibility - and an honor - to help build the kind of support system my own mother once needed, and that so many families still deserve today.
