LBJT Coach and Community Member Development

Many youth football and cheer organizations face the dual challenge of supporting families through financial hardship while managing the mental, emotional, and behavioral obstacles our athletes bring to the field. Without specialized training, coaches struggle to mentor effectively, often defaulting to a "win-at-all-costs" mentality that overlooks the deeper needs of our youth. We seek to shift our culture from scoreboard-driven results to a mentorship-first model, empowering our staff to lead with firm boundaries and empathy. By investing in comprehensive coaching development, we aim to equip our youth with the emotional resilience and life skills necessary to succeed long after the season ends, inspiring them to one day return and pour back into our community.
