Carolyn's Fundraiser: Sponsor Her Journey

I'm personally sponsoring two women during Spero Medical's Big Day of Giving campaign for $2,000.  Can you help me sponsor two more? 

The total cost to provide comprehensive pregnancy support to one woman is $1,000. Will you help by fully sponsoring all or part of one woman's journey?

Spero's mission is to to provide compassionate, loving and practical support for women making life-affirming choices for themselves and their babies.

From the moment a woman first walks through the door of Spero Medical to take a pregnancy test, she is no longer alone. Spero staff and volunteers are there to meet her with compassion, love, and extensive free services. Her journey begins knowing that Spero will walk beside her every step of the way. 

A no-cost medically verified pregnancy test will confirm if she is pregnant; a nurse-administered gestational ultrasound will give a first glimpse of her developing baby. Follow-up ultrasounds are provided throughout her pregnancy to monitor both mom’s and baby’s health. Parenting and prenatal education is a priority. Opportunities to earn ‘Mommy Bucks” will provide baby items she may need from diapers to clothing, from bedding to car carrier. Both counseling and Life Coaching will help her overcome personal challenges, build confidence and develop a plan for herself as a mom. Housing and employment resources, if needed, are easy to access. A certified doula will support her through labor and delivery. A lactation specialist will ensure that she and her baby are bonding, breastfeeding is successful, and nutrition is optimum.
