To my family, friends, and colleagues:

I am proud to be the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of International House Davis (I-House) and starting on July 1st, I will be the Board Chair of this amazing organization. 

Global community and cultural connection aren’t just ideas—they are part of my lifelong values. Serving on the I-House Board of Directors feels like a natural extension of that passion. For many in our community, headlines of conflict, uncertainty, and heartbreak are not far away — they are personal, touching family members, friends, and ancestral homes. I-House provides a powerful antidote: a place where cultures meet and belonging is built. We believe connection across cultures is one of the most hopeful things a community can do. Every day, people gather at I-House across languages, cultures, and generations — not to debate headlines, but to build understanding. 

This Big Day of Giving, I’m asking for your help for I-House to reach our $30,000 fundraising goal. 

Your gift will directly support:

• Language learning programs

• Resources for newcomers and international parents

• Dynamic cultural programming that bring the world to Yolo County
