LEAP Fundraiser

Leaders for Ethics, Animals & The Planet is a unique humane education program. Students learn valuable lessons about climate change, plant-based nutrition, food justice, ocean conservation, and a long list of etceteras. They also receive a free plant-based lunch, and then spend time with animals doing various workshops to learn about their care, individual needs, etc. in a sanctuary setting, where they will never have to betray their new friends by sending them to auctions to be slaughtered. It is a powerful program that I have both taught myself and observed at other sanctuaries, and the students build amazing leadership skills to go out and make a difference in this world. Programs like this are more important now than ever before. The LEAP students give me hope for the future for all human- and non-human animals.
