I am Vanessa Vazquez, the Program Administrator for Social Connections team!

As a crisis counselor, I have the privilege of providing hope and offering a source of light during someone's darkest moments. My work enables me not only to inspire hope but also to empower individuals to harness their strength and take control of their emotions and lives. Additionally, I assist clients in locating essential resources when they need them most.

My work at HEC has helped me uncover my true passion, inspiring me to return to school with the goal of earning a PhD in psychology. I began as a volunteer, and I quickly realized how rewarding it is to give back to the community. Each day serves as a reminder that there are individuals in need, and I have the opportunity to support them.
