Our focus is on creating a welcoming platform for newcomers through partnerships, events, and activities. Here's what we have planned for 2024:
Host Fundraising Events: Including our annual event and active participation in community fundraising events like Big Day of Giving and Giving Tuesday.
Expand Community Reach: Through tabling and presentations in schools and to our partners.
Collaborate for Community Bazaar: Partner with others for a Community Bazaar, job readiness, and financial literacy workshops, as well as motivational and wellness events.
Organize Get-Together Activities: Such as potlucks, picnics, cooking classes, and game nights.
Participate in Community Events: Aligning with ACCIS’s mission, including festivals and events hosted by partner organizations.
ACCIS is dedicated to creating a welcoming space for immigrants and refugees in Sacramento, empowering them to seamlessly integrate into the community. Our initiatives, in partnership with other organizations, provide tailored resources and support for unique needs, fostering a sense of belonging. Through active participation in events, ACCIS celebrates diversity and contributes to the well-being of immigrants and refugees, building a strong, inclusive community through shared experiences.
