I am Shiva Ghasemi and I am the Program Coordinator with the Wellness Education team!
At HEC, I Launched a Strong Start by building trust and creating a safe, inclusive space where participants felt heard and supported. By tailoring wellness and nutrition education to reflect their cultural values and lived experiences, I helped individuals feel more connected and confident in making positive, sustainable changes for their health and well-being.
It strengthened my ability to lead with empathy, adapt educational content to diverse communities, and build meaningful relationships rooted in trust. Personally, it reinforced my passion for community wellness and showed me the power of culturally relevant nutrition education in transforming lives.
