I’m a professional griever. When I was 16 months old, my biological father left me and my 24-year-old mother for the day, took his small aircraft up over our family ranch, crashed and was killed. From that day on my life was forever altered. I had what I called, a “death complex”.
I couldn’t talk about it, think about it or plan for it. I spent my entire childhood and young adult life grieving, healing, questioning, growing in my relationship with the Lord and learning how to trust him when my life not what I expected it to be.
In 2018, God set it on my heart to start this organization, and it has transformed my life. He said, “Now you’re going to use your pain for a purpose”. God weaved all my life experiences together to bring me her, to this very spot, for the very big purpose of serving others.
I could have never imagined all the people who now walk alongside me as part of TWHC. I am blessed every day to be able to serve in this capacity with them, for a community of grievers.
This year, I'm excited to bring our School Resource Kits to life! This is a project we have been dreaming about for a while now and the money we raise this year will go towards the constant printing of them to for our local schools.
Since I was a childhood griever, I have a soft spot for these children. These school resource kits will provide families with local and applicable resources to guide them with their children in grief.
This organization is part of my own personal journey. It fuels me to be able to serve others in a capacity I needed myself over the years.
