Together We Heal Community launched in 2021 as a 501(c)3 with the objective of creating space for people struggling with loss in its many forms and equip them with tools to build a life filled with joy. We strive to provide many different and unique opportunities to bring healing, comfort and connection to our community through support groups, creative workshops, and spreading joy through our flower farm.
During 2022 we met organizational goals in both our Flower Farm and Grief Support programs. We continued to expand the Flower Farm Program which provides a beautiful farm for volunteers to gather and pick flowers and then prepare them to share with the public. 650 jars of fresh flowers were delivered to local businesses for anyone to take home who may need a pick-me-up of colorful blossoms and perfume. We hosted a very successful all-day Wellness Retreat offering health and wellness sessions led by 7 facilitators. Our Grief Support Group Program continued to grow offering a rotating calendar of 22 different events and workshops attended by 205 participants. These activities are offered at low cost to ensure all-inclusiveness. We also began to build a network of professional facilitators to partner with for our Grant Therapy Program. This program is designed to offer reduced cost therapy sessions for those unable to commit to therapy due to financial limitations.
We invite you to view our website at http://www.togetherwehealcommunity.org for a list of the activities and to register to personally attend one of our workshops including Yoga, Creative Arts, and Walking Wellness. ONE thing you MUST do is to visit the Flower Farm in the spring.
And follow is on Instagram for tips and recommendations for guiding grievers through the process!
