My name is Candy Wright, and I'm here to talk to you about Single Mom Strong as you consider where you would like to contribute for this year’s Big Day of Giving. Single Mom Strong is a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to support and enrich the lives of single moms and their children. We offer a variety of programs and services, including affordable preschool and daycare, summer programs, empowerment workshops, and career exploration.
Single mothers face many challenges, including financial hardship and lack of childcare. They often have to put their own careers and goals on hold to take care of their kids. Single Mom Strong is there to help them overcome these challenges and build a better life for themselves and their children.
Big Day of Giving is a fundraising event that takes place every year in the Sacramento region. The event is organized by the Sacramento Region Community Foundation and brings together hundreds of local nonprofits to raise money for their important work.
