Nikhil's Story:
My name is Nikhil, and I’m 15 years old. Through Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference, I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer in a variety of meaningful ways that have truly changed how I see my community.
I’ve helped serve meals at the Upper Room Dining Hall for individuals experiencing homelessness, supported families at the Winter Boutique where people can select warm clothing, and volunteered at Twin Lakes Food Bank to help provide food to those in need. I’ve also spent time at Mercy Creekview Senior Center, helping serve meals to seniors.
Being part of these experiences has made me feel incredibly grateful. It’s shown me how important it is to give back and how even small efforts can make a real difference in someone’s life. I’ve also learned valuable skills like teamwork, communication, and leadership—things I know will help me in the future.
What I love most about Hands4Hope is that it brings together students from all different backgrounds who all share the same goal: helping others. It’s a place where young people are encouraged to step up, take initiative, and create positive change in their communities.
I’m proud to be part of an organization that empowers youth to become leaders and make an impact.
Please consider supporting Hands4Hope. Your donation helps provide opportunities for students like me to grow, serve, and continue making a difference in our community.

Tracey’s Story:
I am an adult volunteer and I am really excited to be working with our area’s youth. What is so special for me specifically is the opportunity for our youth to gain leadership skills, project management skills, communication and public speaking skills at such an early age. This will help our youth thrive in college and their careers throughout their lives. I truly enjoy partnering with our Hands4Hope youth during the year and learn and grow myself. I am passionate about giving back to our community and supporting Hands4Hope in their mission to empower youth to become leaders and change-makers.
These young people are truly awe-inspiring! I love that Hands4Hope youth come from all different backgrounds and experiences. Inclusion is a key value of Hands4Hope which creates a welcoming, engaging, and safe environment for all.
Please consider donating to this wonderful organization that makes such a positive impact to our youth and to the broader community.
