It's that time of year again! To all whom has worked, donated, volunteered with non-profits knows Big Day of Giving is the most important day of the year! Did you know there is 40,000 Seniors in Yolo County, and 8,000 of them meet the criteria of low, or extremely low income. Nourishing one Senior at a time doesn't take much, and any amount of a donation DOES make a difference. Delivering meals myself I've seen first hand how many Seniors in our community and rural areas are alone in need of a meal, or in need of simple friendly hello. We have some of the most awesome, big hearted volunteers who deliver meals three days a week to our seniors all over Yolo County, and they do it with smiling, caring, friendly faces. It's just one way they can give back to their seniors who live in their community. Will you share the love? Will you help nourish the seniors in Yolo County? How will you give back to your community?
