I love FCCP because it meets people where they are and provides the resources and support when they are needed most. That approach is essential to building strong, healthy communities.
I was looking for a meaningful way to contribute to my community, and when I discovered FCCP, I immediately saw the importance of its work in strengthening families and communities. Serving on the Board is an opportunity to support and advance that impact.

About the FCCP.
The Folsom Cordova Community Partnership is a 501(c)3 community based non-profit. Our mission and vision support our work to: build strong families, meet the needs of struggling parents to increase self-sufficiency, promote youth development through positive peer and adult relationships and develop employment skills for individuals to achieve their career goals. We bring together resources and programming in a Family Resource Center and Job Center to create a “one-stop” experience, which encourages and supports families as they identify their own needs and reach their goals. We recognize that each family has strengths and encourage each family to build on these strengths to solve their own challenges.
We have two primary focuses. One is to prevent child abuse through parent education and support, free family activities and vital resources. The other is to assist families in achieving self-sufficiency through job search assistance, providing scholarships for career training, professional skill building education, financial empowerment, refugee / asylee employment supports, youth leadership and career exploration. We are committed to addressing the distinct needs of families and youth in Rancho Cordova, Folsom and the surrounding areas. They are two communities that are knitted together under a local school board and as neighbors on the Highway 50 corridor. We invite you to learn more about our organization and the work we do to meet the needs of our community. Scroll through our website to find an overview of our community work and examples of the lives we touch every day. We are here to work hand-in-hand with you to meet the needs of our community. We look forward to partnering with you in helping our communities flourish.
