Support The Community by Supporting I-House

I've been serving at the International House Davis for almost two years, and I have personally seen and assisted in the important work that they provide for the community here. When I first moved from New Jersey to California, I wasn't sure how I would be able to get acclimated to the community. Though I was in such a new place, the team at I-House made the transition seamless, and within months, I felt accepted as though I'd lived here my whole life! This is what I-House provides for everyone who walks through those doors, both international and domestic, and I could not think of a more deserving place to donate to, at a time when community as a whole is under attack. Additionally, when my AmeriCorps contract was unexpectedly ended early last year, the team rallied together to support me and ensure I could still continue to support myself. Supporting I-House by participating in our Big Day of Giving fundraiser is just a small way that I hope to be able to give back some of what was given to me.
