Patrick's Fundraiser for Opening Doors

Dear friends

I am writing again to ask for your support of Opening Doors, Inc., an established Sacramento organization that supports immigrants, refugees, and survivors of trafficking on their path to stability, self-sufficiency and belonging. 

The plight of refugees is ancient and global—people have long fled war, natural disaster, famine, and oppression. Their plight is also ongoing and local, with thousands arriving in Sacramento each years with their suitcases and hopes.  

This short video offers a glimpse of the inspired and inspiring work of our staff and volunteers as they worked to reunite an Afghan child who had been separated from his family in the chaos of the Kabul evacuation. 

Our willingness to accept some measure of the world’s refugees is one of Sacramento's finer traditions.  And now Opening Doors could use your financial support to continue that work. If you can, please donate to Opening Doors. All contributions welcome.
