Fischers' Wellspring Women's Center Fundraiser '24

Hello, Friends!

Chris and I would be honored if you would join us in donating to Wellspring Women's Center during this year's Big Day of Giving! You’ve probably heard us share over the last decade about how we’ve been fortunate to see up close the profound impact Wellspring makes in Oak Park and beyond.

Wellspring is a drop-in center, providing respite and services based on “hospitality with dignity and love.” Wellspring serves nearly 200 women and their children each weekday and offers a Nutritious Meal Program, Children's Corner Program, Safety Net Services Program, and Women's Wellness Program.

From the view of volunteers, neighbors, and now from the Board of Directors, we see the immense care, the recognition of every guest’s dignity, the tireless support, and the intentionality that flows from staff, guests, and volunteers to make Wellspring a true community.  

I have never witnessed more sharing, laughter, hope in the face of hardship or support in the midst of pain—day in and day out—than I have here.
