What we do:

Cool Davis works primarily with households, neighborhoods and organizations. Since its founding, Cool Davis has engaged thousands of households in active greenhouse gas reductions through our rooftop solar, home energy efficiency, electric vehicle, and Cool Solutions campaigns. We partner with members of our Coalition as well as local businesses and community institutions to host popular public events, including talks, workshops, ride and drives, showcases, festivals, film screenings, panels, and educational forums. We work with volunteers from Americorps Youth Programs to train them to develop leadership skills while they help us with our various programs.

In the last year we have renewed our mission and completed a strategic plan calling us forward to: 

Re-center the organization to implement equity and inclusion strategies.

Strengthen our internal systems and external relationships to help fund and manage our various programs. 

Respond to the calls for expansion of our programs in and beyond Davis in order to deliver programs that create Climate Ready Neighborhoods, support EV transportation,.

By Standing Together on Climate we can create enduring community resilience through equitable and inclusive strategies that lower greenhouse gas emissions and help our region adapt to a changing climate and to inspire everyone to be able to action.
