At Herd and Flock Animal Sanctuary, we envision a world where all animals are unconditionally loved and cared for. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care to some of the most invisible and abused animals—farmed animals—and today, we are proud to offer one of the premier sanctuary homes for rescued farm animals in the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay areas.

We open our sanctuary to volunteers, tour visitors, and high school students to educate our community about the harms factory farming causes to animals, people, and the planet. We have saved nearly 1,000 lives and welcomed more than 1,000 visitors. Each interaction with our animals has the power to spark compassion and inspire reflection on what it means to put animals on our plates.

Today is a great time to give because now we are taking our expertise with farmed animals and using it to influence legislators and take on the agricultural industrial complex in order to increase our impact exponentially for all animals.  

All donations received will be used to care for our animal residents and to educate the community and those in power about the need for compassion.
