For the past 12 years, the Ohana Dance Group/Kūhai Hālau O Kaponookalani has been a source of cultural enrichment for me. This multi-generational non-profit fosters a love for Hawaiian music, dance (hula), and traditions.
More than just learning steps, Ohana Dance Group provides a platform for personal growth and community engagement. From lively school performances to formal hōʻike (recitals), we share the beauty of Hawaiian culture and the spirit of aloha (love) with Sacramento.
