Hi, I am Aracely Garcia, the Program Coordinator on the Social Connections team at the Health Education Council!

When I say hello, I help people feel welcome. New participants at our HEC workshops feel more welcome and included when I say hello and smile at them.

Seeing how someone's life changes when I am able to offer a resource brings me immense personal satisfaction. Professionally, I feel proud to be doing my job and being able to help others. The giver receives more than the recipient themselves.

HEC has given me the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. I've learned a lot doing what I love: helping my community.
