Splash for Cash is Swimming the English Channel

YMCA swimmers will be making a splash in the Sac Central pool on Big Day of Giving! Tag teaming throughout the day, we will swim continuously from 5:30 am to 8:45 pm, putting in enough cumulative swim miles to swim the English Channel - just in time to make it to the coronation of King Charles!!
We are completing this marathon continuous swim to raise funds for the YMCA aquatics program.

The pool at the YMCA is near and dear to our hearts. Every day we see the benefit that this program brings to our community.
Exercise in the pool helps us live healthier lives. We've seen seniors with arthritis gain increased mobility through water exercise. Every week children with disabilities experience the joy of swimming and exercising in the buoyancy of the water. And every day, children and adults learn to swim and be safe around water.
The aquatics program gives a great deal to our community.
