Amy's Cinco de Birthday Fundraiser for CASA

Once again, my birthday coincides with our Big Day of Giving event! What better way to celebrate than participating in a regional-specific day of giving to our nonprofits?! 

CASA El Dorado's mission to support, empower and provide a voice for abused, neglected and at-risk youth has always been close to my heart. I've supported our mission for over 15 years starting back in 2007 as a staff member, transitioning to service as a board member, community supporter, volunteer and back as a staff member in 2022. 

Our Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) help change lives. The dedication and 1:1 caring and consistent relationships that our advocates provide creates a foundation for breaking the cycle of generational trauma. In a time when a child's life is completely uprooted, our advocates show up consistently working to build trust, help navigate the next steps in the court process and represent the child's voice in court.
