I'm Adam Johnson, and I'm excited to be serving as the captain of the Blue team in this year's L5 Investments Capital Cup. This tournament represents more than just a day on the golf course—it's an opportunity to give back to our community while enjoying the sport that has shaped so many of our lives.

Golf has been transformational in my life, helping me build lifelong friendships and serving as the foundation of my business success. Through this sport, I've experienced firsthand how golf teaches invaluable life lessons about integrity, perseverance, and respect while creating opportunities for meaningful connections. This is why I chose The First Tee as my charity of choice—because I believe every young person deserves the same opportunities this game has given me.

The First Tee's impact in our community is remarkable, serving over 50,000 youth in the greater Sacramento area through innovative programs like RISE, which specifically reaches underserved communities that might otherwise lack access to golf. Their weekend tour program has been instrumental in launching some of the world's greatest golfers, demonstrating how the organization nurtures talent while building character. 

By participating in this tournament and leading the Blue team, I'm proud to support an organization that uses golf as a vehicle to teach young people essential life skills, open doors to new opportunities, and help them discover the same transformative power of this sport that has meant so much to me.
