The Sacramento Women's Chorus is passionate about the music we sing and the message it brings as we endeavor to touch the lives of our audience and the community around us.
I have been a member of SWC for 12 years and have participated many of their performances and events. I have served on the Board of directors in several capacities. My friend and SWC mentor, Jean Schultz, was the board president when I joined the chorus and she nurtured, supported and cajoled me into becoming a leader within the organization. As a fellow Alto she lent her voice to the many harmonies that we wade. Jean passed away in July 2023.
Jean (Jeanie) Schultz was a cornerstone of the Sacramento Women’s Chorus for over 20 years. She leaves us a legacy of leadership, organizational structure and integrity. She championed our members and supported them in their growth, individually and collectively. Within the larger community Jean spearheaded programs that supported youth making a positive impact on the lives of others. The loss of Jeanie leaves a huge void in the hearts of our members as well as the overall organization.

Donations to this fund are tax deductible and will directly benefit graduating seniors who identify as female and have participated in the arts programs of their high school. Thank you for helping keep Jeanie’s legacy alive.
Additional monies raised will directly support our organization by providing: compensation for our Music Professionals so we can achieve our mission of striving for musical excellence, and help offset the costs of purchasing our music so we can meet the needs of our growing membership and have the freedom to select any song that fits our mission
