This year, as they celebrate a century of service, they're focusing on schools as the cornerstone for eradicating poverty. Education is the ultimate game-changer, offering opportunities that transcend circumstances.

United Way California Capital Region's Square One initiative tackles poverty head-on, beginning with education. From furnishing preschoolers with home libraries to aiding foster youth with financial literacy, they're dedicated to nurturing future generations.
