Jesse's Fundraising Page

Hello! My name is Jesse Ricks! I am raising money for ABLED. I am learning to handle food at different restaurants, how to be clean and reserved when serving food at a stand, and how to handle money at the cash register while working at the store. I have been showing amazing leadership skills for ABLED. I have recently been providing peer support for different clients and going off-site to do jobs like moving boxes, cleaning houses or picking items. And I've been doing a good job on scanning and copying files or papers for staff to be reviewed. I am thinking of joining the Paid Internship Program to be an instructional aid for ABLED but we are in the middle of planning a meeting to get things started. This is important to me because I want to learn more skills so that I can get myself a job and earn my own living in life. My two dream jobs I would like to work at are a Movie theater working as a concession worker, passing out food and drinks. And possibly working at Barnes and Nobles as a Bookseller enticing customers with lovely displays on books. I have recently been volunteered to help out with Ace Hardware on Monday and Friday mornings. I have been locating items in their aisles without using a barcode to scan them. I've also been doing well with teamwork with different teammates whenever they need help with something.
