Join Sacramento Navigators on Big Day of Giving as we raise funds to sustain and expand our workforce development program for individuals in recovery. Our Navigators work as a professional maintenance and landscaping team, trained in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) — using beautification and environmental improvements as powerful tools to reduce blight, deter crime, and create safer, more vibrant communities. Every dollar contributed goes directly toward paying living wages and providing professional skills training that empowers our crew members to build careers and reclaim their futures. Our goal is broken down into three giving tiers: $25–$99 – The Steady Step, which helps offset the cost of daily training materials, safety equipment, and tools our Navigators need on the job; $100–$799 – The Strong Foundation, which contributes toward one week of paid wages for a Navigator in recovery, ensuring they earn a real paycheck while developing marketable skills in maintenance, landscaping, and CPTED-informed property care; and $800+ – The Trailblazer, which sponsors a full month of employment — covering salary, on-the-job training, and professional development — for one program participant. Together, we invest not just in cleaner, safer neighborhoods, but in the people who make it possible — because a steady wage and real skills are the foundation of lasting recovery.
