Our LEAP Youth Advisors were each given the task of dreaming up a high-impact project that would benefit animals and the planet and create impact through youth.
Siri Kaelin dreamt up "Take a Hike," an innovative outdoor project that brings people of every age together to get outside, build community, and raise funds to support important nonprofit organizations doing work on behalf of animals, youth, and/or the environment.
Take a Hike gives youth around the world the opportunity to:
- become leaders in their communities
- practice organizing philanthropic events
- learn about the benefits of plant-based eating and connection to the outdoors on their physical and mental health
- directly help nonprofits working to protect animals and ecosystems
- get outside and connect with nature and each other
The funds raised through my page will support the LEAP Youth Advisory Council students to attend their Summer 2026 Leadership Retreat to continue learning and collaborating as they hone their leadership skills for ethics, animals, and the planet.
