THE BIG DAY OF GIVING is here and we are asking for your support of St. Vincent de Paul Roseville and it's mission of preventing hunger and homelessness in our community.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Roseville, founded in 1983, is the largest privately funded supplier of human services in South Placer County. Our mission is to provide basic human services and programs to prevent hunger and homelessness. We provide hope and help for people in crisis … not just the homeless, but families who are struggling financially and are at risk of becoming homeless. Our goal is to help people in need as they work towards self-sufficiency.
The demand for our services continues to grow, especially in the Food Locker. The number of households utilizing our Food Locker increased from 16,259 in fiscal year 2023-24 to 20,729 in 2024-25. For fiscal year 2025-26, we expect 24,187 households being assisted.
In this last year, with our Phase 1 remodel of the warehouse, we have been able to keep up with the needs of our community. We were able to add a new walk-in refrigeration unit, a new racking system, new painting, and the old stairs came down with space expanded for flow improvement of goods coming into and out of the food locker.
This year, the goal is to complete Phase 2 of the Warehouse remodel. Phase II will add new stairs in the food locker, a newly remodeled bathroom, and a new industrial sink. Additionally, the Dining Room is in need of updated seating both inside and outside.
Please help us fund this project, which will allow us to continue to serve all who come to us for groceries to help feed their families. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity.
