Support Dads, Reunite Families, Build Strong Bonds

When I joined the MIC program for fathers, I was internally broken. My heart was shattered as I had lost custody of my children. During class I realized that I had a broken heart from my past. My relationship with my children was being affected by the anger from my childhood. I have worked hard and am thankful for the MIC program helping me to find the strength to heal my broken heart. I realize now how special my children are and that they are “gifts” who deserve to be shown love and positive reinforcement unlike what I was shown as a child.

The MIC program helped me learn the importance of creating a safe and healthy home and environment for my children and myself. I want to truly say thank you to Gold Sierra Life Skills for helping me. I was only able to take this program due to the generosity of the scholarship program. The MIC program has made it possible for me to recognize and change who I am and how I impact the lives of my children. I look forward to being the father that my children deserve and also to be able to positively co-parent with their mother.
