Golden Sierra Life Skills – Father and Family Center is a non-profit organization based in Auburn, California, dedicated to promoting healthy families and positive lifestyles. Founded by Tom Grayson, who also serves as Executive Director, the organization provides educational services and support to fathers, adolescents, and adults across Northern California. Our core mission is to guide and empower fathers, helping them transition from manhood to fatherhood, and to heal the “broken heart” that often stems from the absence of a father figure.
Through specialized programs in parenting: Men, Infants, and Children (MIC) Father Parenting, Co-parenting, Nurturing Parenting, Active Teen Parenting, Kids In Need of Diversion (KIND), and anger management; Golden Sierra Life Skills strives to foster family reunification, healing, and personal growth. We believe that by nurturing and educating fathers, we can help mend relationships and create a ripple effect of positive change within families and communities. Since our inception, we have assisted more than 6,000 youth and over 4,000 father figures with education, information, and ongoing support.
In addition to direct services, Tom Grayson offers consulting to agencies and organizations at local, state, national, and international levels, helping to advance best practices in family and parenting education. Our commitment is to provide compassionate guidance, practical resources, and a supportive environment for all who seek to build stronger, healthier families.
