350 Sacramento Volunteers Fundraisers

Dear Friends, 

Each of us has a part to play in solving the climate crisis. Talk with others about your fears, take part in climate actions, write letters, organize your neighbors, give a donation to support others who are stepping up…  Just do SOMETHING.

Why donate to 350 Sacramento? 

1. We are effective: we showed up for the Mayors' Commission on Climate Change, SMUD's decision to go Zero Carbon by 2030, and we continue to advocate, educate, and empower our community to take bold and equitable climate action. 

2. We have longevity: we have been working locally for 12 years. 

3. We continue to grow: we were an all-volunteer group for 9.5 years and now need a 4-person staff to help organize the many volunteers and projects we're currently involved in. 

4. We are passionate: see us at hearings, meetings, demonstrations, on zoom, and in the streets. And we like to have fun! 

5. We are kind: this is an intergenerational organization where young and old work together respectfully and caringly. 

6. We know this climate fight is about much more than climate: it is about how we treat one another, how we treat the earth that nurtures us, how we treat those who are marginalized or vulnerable.
