Needs

In 2025 alone, xHope served over 1,050 youth across our programs. Every year, the need increases. And every year, we strive to meet that need through resources and relationships.

Our Threads of Hope Community Closet has become a lifeline for hundreds of families as we offer clothing, shoes, hygiene items, school supplies and other essentials. Beyond meeting basic needs, our outreach event experiences and Pathways of Hope Mentorship Program have helped foster confidence, stability, and growth in the lives of the youth we serve.

Last year, we expanded hope through the growth of our facility. This year, our focus is on relationships. We strive for meaningful connection with every single family that walks through our doors, attends an event, or receives tangible items from us. These children deserve to feel seen, loved, and valued.

That’s why this Big Day of Giving, we’ve set a goal to raise $30,000—and every dollar will go towards our outreach events. These events allow us to show extravagant love to hundreds of youth, and provide distinct opportunities for connection with volunteers and supporters.

What are our outreach events?

Birthday Bash - Did you know that some foster and vulnerable youth actually don’t even know when their birthday is? This brand new quarterly outreach allows us to celebrate birthdays of local vulnerable youth who otherwise may not have a party, or get a piece of cake and a present.

Summer Bash - This mid-summer pool party gives families the chance to celebrate summer together and enjoy a fun evening of swimming, games, laughter, and pizza.

Back to School Bash - As students get ready to start a new school year, we want to make sure they are prepared. Over several days, hundreds of youth will receive a brand new first day of school outfit, backpack full of supplies, and a haircut to look and feel their best as they head back to the classroom.

Holiday Bash - We celebrate Christmas with our families as we put on our largest event of the year. Last year, 400+ vulnerable youth received gifts, blankets, pajamas, treats and more at our Holiday Bash. The magic of the holidays truly comes to life with an overflow of joy!

In 2025, about 850 youth attended our events throughout the course of the year.

Our goal for this year is that 1,000 youth would experience these outreach opportunities. That is 1,000 youth that will attend an event planned with them in mind. 1,000 youth that will feel supported, cared for, and known. 1,000 youth that might feel a little less alone.

Every gift is a tangible step towards this goal. Every donation brings us closer to building a more hopeful, connected, and empowered community.
