The Alchemist CDC Board of Directors is stepping up in a big way this Big Day of Giving. Ten Sacramento-area leaders, one shared goal...and a little friendly competition.
Each board member, along with our CEO Sam Greenlee, has committed to a fundraising goal of $2,000 to support Alchemist CDC’s work connecting communities to land, food, and opportunity.
The first $10,000 raised by The Board will be directed toward opening an Alchemist CDC Nonprofit Fund with the Sacramento Region Community Foundation. This will strengthen the financial foundation that supports all of our programs and allow us to easily accept and manage donor-restricted funds, charitable gift annuities, and larger charitable contributions in partnership with one of the region’s most trusted nonprofit fund stewards.
Every dollar raised beyond that will go toward Alchemist CDC general program operations, helping Alchemist's exceptional team expand food access, support entrepreneurs, and continue building vibrant, community-centered food spaces across Sacramento.
