Join us on the Big Day of Giving to show support for our mission to preserve, interpret, and promote our railroad heritage and spark wonder and curiosity in the next generation of scientists, historians, engineers, technicians, innovators, and preservationists.
The California State Railroad Museum Foundation (CSRMF) has been an official cooperating association with California State Parks and a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization since 1987. CSRMF provides funding for the ongoing support of numerous programs at the California State Railroad Museum in Old Sacramento and Railtown 1897 State Historic Park in Jamestown. Both locations are home to historic rolling stock that cannot be experienced anywhere else, and they pride themselves on the ability to use their extensive collections to engage railfans of all ages and backgrounds in Western American railroad history.
As a nonprofit, we rely on your support. You can help us preserve and share our collections far and wide and with many people, young and old. Your donation today will help ensure the future of a museum that everyone can enjoy now and for many years to come.
