As members of the Board of Directors at Twin Lakes Food Bank, we have the privilege of seeing firsthand how our community shows up for neighbors in need. And right now, that support matters more than ever.
As grocery prices continue to rise, more of our neighbors are turning to Twin Lakes Food Bank for help. Every month, more than 3,000 individuals walk through our doors in search of nutritious food and a little hope. Among them are seniors choosing between medication and groceries, single parents working tirelessly to support their children, veterans who have served our country, individuals experiencing homelessness, and everyday familiesβpeople just like you and usβsimply trying to make ends meet.
But thanks to the kindness of our community, they donβt have to face it alone. Together, we are working to raise $75,000 to help Twin Lakes Food Bank:
Purchase more nutritious, perishable groceries to meet the growing needs of our neighbors
Add additional freezers to expand our perishable food storage capacity
Update our outdoor produce stand to create a smoother, more dignified experience for our guests while equipping our volunteers to serve with greater ease and efficiency
As a Board, we are personally committed to helping reach this goal, and each of us is working to raise $1,500 to support our hungry neighbors.
We invite you to join us. Together, we can ensure that hopeβand nutritious foodβcontinues to reach every family who walks through our doors.
