Every piece of fabric you have ever touched began the same way: a single thread, passed over and under, woven again and again alongside others. Alone, that thread is fragile. But woven together? It becomes something that holds. It becomes something that lasts. Something that wraps around the people who need it most.

On Thursday, May 7th, Sacramento’s Big Day of Giving returns,  and 3Strands Global Foundation will be right there, ready to put every dollar raised directly to work. This is the day our community comes together, thread by thread, to weave something truly powerful.

This year, our goal is to raise $50,000 in a single day.

Here’s the truth: without the support of people like you, the threads begin to fray. Programs that serve vulnerable families grow thin. The safety net that catches people in crisis weakens at the edges. The work of healing and restoration — which depends on each strand holding firm — starts to come undone.

But that is not the ending we choose. Because when we give together — when each person adds their strand — something extraordinary takes shape. We become the kind of community that does not let people fall. We become, as our name has always reminded us: Stronger Together.
