Terra Superfoods

Terra Superfoods has teamed up with Oracles of Truth Academy to open its first franchise in Sacramento County with plans to grow the franchise across the Greater Sacramento Region. By contributing to this donation option, you help improve the lives of local Sacramentans. 

Through our collaboration we will service 20 unhoused people to help them access support, education, and employment services. This will include pre-apprenticeship training in Terra Superfoods service areas, earn while they learn, and achieve ownership via franchising. These unrestricted funds will be used to provide:

Operating Supplies ($60,000)

• Branded packaging: bowls, cups, bags, deli paper to hold food and beverages. The cost for these items is $55,000.
• Branded uniforms: Black pants, short/long sleeve shirts, black work shoes (no slip), caps, socks, sweatshirt, hair nets. The cost per person is $250 x 20 = $5,000.

Apprentice Work-Study Experiences ($40,000)

• CWT Orientation: Onboarding and training for new contingent worker trainees, HIPAA and FERPA compliance training, billing and pay policy training, equipment and software training. A Flexible Facilitator performs these activities. The cost per person is $4000 x 20 people = $8,000
• Apprentice training: Custom apprentice training in Terra Superfoods products, recipes, customer service, sales, and live work-study experiences across all business areas on-the-job. A Flexible Facilitator performs these activities. The cost per person is $800 x 20 people = $16,000.

• Contingent Worker Trainee Stipends: This is a work-study (learn-earn) performance incentive provided to every participant. The cost per person is $320 x 20 people = $6,400.

• New Hire Onboarding: Initial employee training required upon first day of hire. The cost per person is $448 x 20 people = $8,960.
• Food handler certification: Food handler online course, certification, and handler card. The cost per person is $7 x 20 people = $140.
• Food manager protection certification: Online training course, proctored exam, and food manager certification. The cost per person is $100 x 5 people = $500.
