Bring Thanksgiving Home!

For 40 years, FosterHope Sacramento has supported children, youth, and families throughout our community. Through our Youth Trauma Response Team, we work alongside young people impacted by the juvenile justice system, housing instability, trafficking, child welfare involvement, and other forms of trauma.

The youth we serve are navigating circumstances no young person should have to face alone. And during the holidays, something as ordinary as sitting down to a Thanksgiving meal can be anything but ordinary.

Last year, our community helped us deliver 47 Thanksgiving meals to families in need, including youth experiencing homelessness

This year, FosterHope will serve nearly 150 youth and their families, and YTRT hopes to provide Thanksgiving meals to at least 40 families.

Because many of the youth and families we serve do not have reliable transportation, our team volunteers its time to pick up and personally deliver each meal.

Your donation helps put a complete Thanksgiving dinner on the table and lets a young person know that their community has not forgotten them.

$125 feeds a family of four.
