HomeAid Sacramento (HAS) established a task force of industry leaders to determine how best the building industry can support the rebuild efforts. The plan is to assist twelve (12) homeowners who are participating in the Title 25 Program and who welcome the expertise and efficiency that the industry brings.

HomeAid Sacramento has the support of the County of El Dorado and two trusted, community-based nonprofit partners. There are still many details to determine before the shovel hits the ground but HAS is committed to helping this community rebuild in whatever capacity is best.

About Grizzly Flats

The small town of Grizzly Flats, located in El Dorado County, had a population of 1,093 in 2020. On August 17, 2021, the Caldor Fire destroyed the town and its surrounding area. Since then, with nowhere else to go, many residents have been living in RVs on their homesites since the fire.
