Little Paws Giving Tuesday 2026 Donation Drive

Little Paws Doggie Rescue is a small, local, all-volunteer, non-profit dog rescue in the Sacramento area. We specialize in small dogs that are senior, hard-to-place, injured, abused or neglected. Most of our dogs come from the Sacramento area but they are placed within all of our surrounding counties. Some are surrendered by seniors that can no longer care for them. Others are found wandering the streets and are never claimed, but most come from our local animal shelters. Since most of our dogs are seniors, abused or neglected, they require more time in our system and have higher medical bills. These dogs require a lot of care, love and patience, but with help from people like you they will find a special person to love them for whatever time they have left whether it be six months, a year or 10 years.

We run solely off donations, so each dollar donated helps us reach our goal of $5,000. The money donated helps us pay for medical treatments and vet bills, and ensures we can continue to get more doggies into loving homes they so desperately need.

This year, we are raising money for our emergency fund. Having an accessible emergency fund means that we can rescue dogs with complex medical needs and save dogs that other rescues won't take. Over the last few years, vet fees have skyrocketed, and many dogs with complex medical needs are passed over - particularly senior dogs. However, we believe these dogs deserve just as much chance as any other. Please donate and be a part of saving more of the most vulnerable dogs.
