CRH helps the most vulnerable youth in our region thrive with nurturing care, therapy and recreation

$25,000 goal

The Children's Receiving Home gives children their childhoods back. We provide youth in crisis, along with their families, tools to prevail over the challenges preventing them from leading happy, healthy lives. For over 80 years, CRH has been a beacon of hope for the Sacramento region and other communities in California; providing compassionate care for children and teens in plight who have nowhere else to turn. Many of the kids who arrive at our doors have experienced abuse, neglect, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. In addition to providing shelter, meals, and therapeutic recreation in an emotionally warm, safe and nurturing environment, we are known for our expertise in intensive mental-health treatment for traumatized and vulnerable kids aged 2-19.

This holiday season, you can make an immediate difference in these young people's lives through our "Open Hearts. Thriving Lives" fundraising campaign. Our goal is to raise $25,000. We are calling on our community to join us: individuals, local institutions that culturally make The Greater Sacramento Area the incredible place it is, as well as corporate partners. Together, we can create opportunities for our most vulnerable community members, our youth, to thrive.

What your radical generosity does:

$100: Vocational class for our kids

$250: Pays for an essential 1-on-1 therapy session

$500: Covers a half-day outing for our youth

$1,000: Covers a local field trip for our youth during winter break

$5,000: Upgrades to our campus spaces & dorms
