Doni's Fundraiser for LCAC

Right now, Latino communities across the country are facing unprecedented fear and uncertainty. In times like these, spaces that affirm dignity, belonging, and joy aren't a luxury, they're a lifeline.

The Latino Center of Art and Culture is exactly that kind of space. It's a place where anyone, regardless of background, can walk through the doors and feel welcomed. Where families gather to honor traditions like Día de los Muertos. Where local artists find a platform. Where culture isn't just preserved, it's celebrated and shared.

As a Mexican, and as a mom raising a daughter with Mexican heritage, this hits close to home. I want Sofia to grow up proud of who she is — to know the music, the art, the traditions that are part of her story. That's not something I'm willing to let fade. This center has meant so much to our community for years, and it holds a very special place in my heart.
